now I felt better from my mumās advice, follow my instinct, my phone started buzzing under my pillow,I pulled it out and looked at the screen,it was Adams calling, I already had over 10 missed calls already and he kept calling, in annoyance I held the side button and switch off the phone,I opened my drawer and threw the phone insideā¦
I stood up to leave the room and I immediately felt pressed, oh God I havenāt started taking those drugs I got from the hospital, guess I will start tomorrow morning, i removed 4k from my personal savings and tuck them in my bag to pay the doctor tomorrow, my legs started shaking to urinate,I quickly ran into the bathroomā¦.

I rolled out of bed to quickly have my bath,after that I put on my uniform, arranged my books while I was arranging my eyes caught across the phone I threw into the drawerā¦
today I have to give him back his phone, I dropped it in my bag and head out of the door, I walked straight to the kitchen but my mum hasnāt started cooking, she suddenly entered the kitchenā¦

Chioma:good morning mum (I said with a smile),she didnāt respond, mummy I said good morning..

mum: chioma take(as she brought out a 200 naira note from her purse and handed them to me),hereās your money for lunch, start going to school nowā¦

the ray of light from the curtain flashed on my face,I opened my eyes and saw myself on a strange bed,I looked myself, am not on my uniform anymore but rather on a hospital gown,how did I get here( as I held my head trying to remember), oh I remember i was walking up the stairs in school and I suddenly felt dizzy and I remember I fell that all,canāt remember anything after then,I guess they might have seen me lying on the floor and rushed me to the hospitalā¦
the door suddenly opened as my dad and the doctor came in,oh youāre awake(the doctor said with a smile)
hi dad(I said with a smile) but he just looked at me and turned to the doctor..,why is he acting this way?

so when will she be leaving (my dad asked),
Doctor: she can start preparing to leave now but just make sure she come regularly to scan the pregnancy..

what?are my ears deceiving me?,did he just say pregnancy?, that canāt be me,tell me this is a dreamā¦

the doctor came to check me,as he opened my mouth and my eyes while my dad watched him quietlyā¦

today is the day I will finally be discharged from the hospital, one advantage of me been in the hospital is the fact that I have to eat whatever I like,not like when am at home, I really feel bad to start leaving today, I will now go home where I will start fighting with my siblings who will take head of fish, all those while Iāve been in the hospital I eat like 6 times in a day,only me one full nylon of sliced bread with a huge cup of tea and 1 tin of sardine,sometimes they will ask me what I wanted and I will tell them akpu and goat meat and better egusi soup,I sat up in bed to look through the window, my door immediately opened as my mum suddenly entered with a nylon she was holdingā¦

I opened the cooler and saw rice and beans with head of fish which she prepared,it was filled to the top..

Adams: my God,mj you should try going for Olympics one day,why are you in a rush like that?
