Second time ever BBQ’ing. First thing was beef ribs so I figured I’d give St Louis ribs a go! Top rack was salt and pepper and bottom rack was Meat Church honey hog.

I was so nervous to try this expensive prime rib for guest, and ruin it. Thanks to the many searches I did in this group I think I pulled it off. The flavor of the smoke in the meat was amazing. Keep posting as Im still learning about this “stuff”

Smoked chuck roast!

Dry brined it in salt and pepper for about 6 hours in the fridge. Added a little more Spiceology garlic freak before I put it on. Smoked at 225 for about 5 hours. Got hungry and turned it up to 300 for about 20 minutes until internal temp was at 195. Pulled it off the smoker and wrapped it in foil and let it rest in a warm oven for another 35 minutes. For my time and money, the chuck roast is a tastier, far more forgiveable, and much faster meal than the brisket.

Need tips for how to get a good crust on the blackstone. I went for medium rare in the inside. Sirloin cut

You sickos want a money shot? BEHOLD!

This is only my third time reverse searing, and I’ve become obsessed with the process. My first time (lol) was with sirloin. Second time with NY strip, and this time with some thick AF ribeyes. The end result can only be described as a “MEATSPLOSION.” Enjoy your money shot!

To All The Grills I've Loved Before LOL! ..... I have been grilling and smoking meats since I was 19 now I am 65. I have owned countless Weber Grills, bullet smokers, offset smokers, my ginormous oil drum smoker and now my Traeger D780. We all evolve and learn over the years what works, what doesn't, what we like and what we don't. That's why I hate seeing people here rag on someone's choice of smoker- It makes you look like a smoker snob and a fool. Don't like pellet smokers? Here's a tip - scroll on past. 10 Cent Brisket🔥

I was picking up some ribeyes for dinner and spotted this unicorn right next to me. 10 cents for about 9lbs of brisket. Grabbed it without a second thought and went straight to checkout

Now I’ve never attempted a brisket before…I live in the city and only have a small portable smoker that I barely get to use. It just so happens that I happen to be out at my parents this weekend and had the smoker in the trunk of my car. Even after trimming, it barely fit on the Z grill portable pellet grill but 14 hours later and I’m pleasantly surprised at the result.

I fully expect my next attempt to fail miserably, definitely some things to improve on. It probably cooked a bit too long and it should’ve been sliced much better. My parents have approximately 60 different random kitchen knives and not one of them with a sharp edge. Ive already ordered them a decent one. Still though, the best 10 cent brisket I’ve ever had!
