is an electronic composer, sound artist, DJ and co-founder of Bay Area based experimental label CLUB CHAI. Sarkissian has released music with labels Tresor, All Centre and CLUB CHAI. She is a resident on NTS radio with shows highlighting her varied style of mixing across subgenres in dance and electronic - techno, bassline, acid, footwork and dubstep weaved together with non-Western percussion. Her production revolves around non-Western samples, often paying homage to her Armenian heritage, but always underscored with an electronic rhythmic pulse that draws from a deep appreciation for club music.

We are excited to pair Lara’s twisted club sonic palette with founder .music_ for a night of ~FrEaK~ diaspora trax tomorrow night at for our label showcase. Come only if you enjoy moving your ass to EBM (existential body music). 🪄🖤🪄🖤

Excited to announce our first event in a series in partnership with . Highlighting middle eastern diaspora artists, we are going to do a deep dive into the intersection between middle eastern culture and contemporary club music. For the first edition we have LA based - a composer, sound artist and DJ. Formerly known as FOOZOOL, Lara has made a mark as a multi faceted artist who can perform both Armenian traditional music, soundscapes and club bangers. Excited for this and hope all you NYCers can come and let your ears and bodies devour the sounds on the incredible sound system 🇮🇷🇦🇲🇮🇷🇦🇲

We are incredibly excited to announce this compilation release - all Iranian artists with various identities producing timeless music, some that don't get the shine they deserve. This is a special release and a statement, Iranians are ARTISTS, Iranians are CREATORS, Iranians are ICONOCLASTS, so book us, pay us, consume our art.

Shaytoon is allied with our Afghan family who is currently violently being starved to death due to US imperialism. 50% of proceeds will go to Wellness Worldwide, a volunteer-based NGO providing healthcare & social support to vulnerable populations in Afghanistan.
