Main staircase in a house located at Hajós utca 32. This Art Nouveau house, located in Budapest's 6th district, is known as "Szedő-ház" after its first owner, the paper magnate Gáspár Szedő. It was designed by Béla Málnai and built by Miklós Román between 1904 and 1905. The beautiful stained-glass windows were created by Miksa Röth and masterfully restored by Judit Füri in 1992.
Miksa Róth was one of the most respected Hungarian mosaicist and stained glass artist.
