Good news for travelers:
Babusar Pass, which connects Chilas with the Adam Valley in northern Pakistan, has just reopened! This scenic route offers a shorter and more beautiful journey between Chilas and Naran Valley. It also means quicker access between Islamabad and Gilgit, with relatively smoother roads winding through the lush green landscapes of the Naran and Kaghan valleys.

جہاں خاموشی بھی دل کو سکون دیتی ہے۔
نہ شورِ زمانہ، نہ فکریں بےجا۔
بس ہوا کی سرگوشی اور قدرت کی گواہی دیتی ہے۔
ہر سانس میں اطمینان، ہر منظر میں پیغام،
یہ تنہا سفر روح کو نئی روشنی دیتی ہے۔
یہ خامشی نہیں، قدرت کی ایک گفتگو ہے،
جو دل کی گہرائیوں سے ہمیں جوڑ دیتی ہے۔

Amid the noise, I stand for peace and with the green flag.

I so glad to see the news both Pakistan and India agree to a ceasefire.
I strongly believe wars bring no lasting solutions, only destruction, especially when two nuclear-armed nations stand opposed.

Across the subcontinent, millions live below the poverty line. Imagine the impact if the energy, focus, and resources spent on conflict were instead used to uplift people to provide food, education and healthcare.

I hope peace continues to prevail. The world already faces enough challenges, climate change, inequality, displacement. We need peace and unity to face such challenges together.

May peace prevail now and forever ✌️
