Mckenna Grace is poised to be crowned a scream queen. At just 19, she’s racked up more film and TV credits than most actors twice her age—from The Handmaid’s Tale to Ghostbusters: Afterlife. “I’ve been doing this my whole life, so it’s hard to imagine myself doing anything else,” she tells V.

But it’s horror that has her heart. This season, the exercise was to capture the perfection audiences once associated with 1950s fashion photography, to revive the poise and pageantry we’ve been missing, and to pay homage to the supermodels of yesteryear who dedicated their lives to making the world dream.
