THANK YOU IT HAS BEEN FUN
I've made the difficult decision to step away from Talking Racewalking and close this chapter of my life.
When I created this page, my goal was simply to help promote racewalking, celebrate athletes from around the world, and bring our small global community a little closer together. Over the years, it has grown into something far beyond what I ever imagined, and I have been fortunate to connect with so many incredible athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers and fans.
I want to sincerely thank everyone who followed the page, shared posts, provided results, corrected my mistakes, and supported my efforts. Your encouragement and passion for our sport made this journey incredibly rewarding.
Over the past year, however, life has given me a new perspective. After taking time to focus on my health and recovery, I've realized that my priorities have changed. As I begin a new chapter in my career and my life, I want to devote more of my time and energy to my family, my own well-being, and pursuing my personal goals within the sport.
Racewalking will always be an important part of my life, but from this point forward I want it to be about participating, training, competing, officiating, and enjoying the sport for myself rather than trying to document it for everyone else.
The Talking Racewalking accounts will remain online as an archive of the journey, but I will no longer be actively creating content or managing the pages.
Thank you for allowing me to play a small part in promoting a sport that has given me so much over the years.
I wish the entire racewalking community continued success, and I look forward to cheering you on—from the roadside, and hopefully the start line once again.
Thank you for everything.
