Family Friendly Beer Garden 🍔 - On our way back from HersheyPark 🎢, we decided to stop somewhere to eat 🍕. The kid was hungry, and couldn’t wait until we got back to our state. It’s very close to NJ.
What makes a beer garden “family friendly?” Is it Bozo the Clown 🤡 blowing bubbles 🫧 in your children’s faces, Tomato 🍅, Shiseido 💄, Potato 🥔, singing 🎵 to your kids (let me know if you got either of those, especially BK 😂), or is it your kids running young, wild, and free, like Snoop 🐕 and Wiz 💨? It can be all or none of them, depending on your opinion. It’s ALL to us, but to each their own 🤷🏼♀️.
This is an outdoor beer garden. We’re not sure how establishments call a beer garden something that’s indoor, but when you’re in the city 🏙️, you sometimes don’t have all of those acres like the countryside and suburbs.
This place has a playground 🛝, co****le 🕳️, horseshoe 🐎, a big Connect 4, lots of areas for private parties 🎉 (3 to be exact), different types of seating (we opted for 1 of the 3 pickup trucks), like: booths, picnic table, stools and tables, and the back of a pickup truck. Yes, it’s my first time in the back of one of them. The kid and I once been in the back seat of one, bc NYC Dadí ran over a WHOLE tire 🛞 on the lil highway 🛣️ going to Newark, in Harrison, and the tow truck driver had a backseat pickup truck as his town truck, but yea (more of our crazy adventures we don’t get to tell you about any other time, bc it’s not a fun activity.
There’s also a live band 🎸 playing some old ppl rock 😆. In a few years my kids going to be calling the hip hop we listen to, “old ppl hip hop,” so don’t take offense when it’s a joke. It’s called having a sense of humor. If you don’t have one, please do us a favor and 🚫, so you’ll never have fun or laugh, ever again 😊, at our expense. It was like 80’s rock, maybe 70’s…before my time.
It’s a nice country, small town vibe, something we’re not completely used to, though we don’t live under a rock 🪨, like some, so we’ve been to some really h***y tonk 🛻 towns, and places in the past. Honestly, just about anything is right up our alley. We’re very open to different things. Just before this place, we were in the same, yet a different part of town (the downtown area), and they had these “happy” 🌈 DJ’s 🎧, during Pride 🏳️🌈 weekend, at a street festival, on a huge stage, playing some different type of hip hop, that personally, I was loving 🥰, but, yea, not everyone can get down with. Check out the song, “Just Wanna C—-,” (can’t even spell it out 🤦🏼♀️) by Lil Zesty Guy & Lil Guy. Drops 🎤. Yes, we love 💗 everyone, especially being apart of the extended community.
