DANOG Publication DANOG PUBLICATION official FB page of Bacan National Highschool DANOG is an Akeanon term which means "echo."

Early Aklanon Filipinos believed that danog is a conveyor of information transpired from afar. Culturally, whatever good things we made, heard and learned must be handed down to the successors — that if we believe in something and proven its goodness, we will multiply that good deeds by working hard to influence people.

So love yourself — move more, eat right, and choose health over hype!🏋️‍♀️

HAPPY NUTRITION MONTH!💚

Celebrated every June 24, St. John the Baptist is known as the forerunner of Jesus Christ who preached repentance and baptized people in the River Jordan.

St. John is one of the few saints whose birth is celebrated, as he played a big role in preparing the way for the Lord. His life was a symbol of humility, courage, and truth.

Across the Philippines, communities take part in lively customs such as the joyful “water pouring” tradition, a playful reminder of cleansing, fresh beginnings, and the sacred gift of baptism.

The Father You Didn’t Notice You Were Becoming

Every Father’s Day, the usual characters show up: Grill Father. Lawn Father. Remote Father. The King of Corny Jokes. And hey! those guys deserve their moment. But there’s another kind of father. One who didn’t start with the title, but slowly, quietly, grew into it through late nights, lifted boxes, and small, steady moments.

This Father’s Day isn’t just about cards and cookouts, it’s about time.
Time spent with the people who’ve seen you grow into this role. Time laughing at the same old joke that still lands.
Time showing your family—without ever having to say it , that you’ll always be there.
The one who holds the camera, carries the snacks, fixes the loose hinge, and somehow makes everyone feel a little more at home.
