MLA Langate Chairs Key Review Meeting to Accelerate Development Projects

In a significant push toward strengthening developmental efforts in his constituency, MLA Langate, Mr. Sheikh Khurshid, today chaired a high-level review meeting with the Block Development Officer (BDO) and officials from key departments, including Public Health Engineering (PHE), Roads & Buildings (R&B), and the Power Development Department (PDD).
The meeting, held to assess the progress of various ongoing development projects, highlighted both achievements and delays. Taking serious note of sluggish progress in some areas, Mr. Khurshid issued clear directives to the concerned departments to expedite pending works without further delay.
> All ongoing projects must be executed on a war footing. There is no room for negligence when it comes to public welfare the MLA asserted.
Emphasizing transparency and accountability, Mr. Khurshid urged officials to ensure that development works are completed within stipulated timelines and in close coordination with the public.
The review session was attended by officers from all relevant departments, as well as Block Presidents, party workers, and a large number of local residents. Attendees openly voiced their concerns and expectations regarding the developmental needs of their respective areas.
In response, Mr. Khurshid assured the public that their grievances would be addressed on priority. He further instructed officials to maintain open lines of communication with residents and regularly update them on the status of projects.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from all stakeholders to work collaboratively toward the holistic development of the region.
