Marissa K. Carmichael, 25, has been missing from Greensboro, North Carolina, since January 14, 2024. She was last seen at a nightclub with friends and later ended up at an Exxon gas station, where she made a frantic call to 911 around 3:40 AM. During the call, she reported that the man she was with had robbed her and taken her phone, leaving her at the store. Although police responded to the store to check on her, Marissa had already left with a customer before their arrival. This was the last confirmed sighting of her.
Surveillance footage showed Marissa getting into a car and leaving the gas station. The police have interviewed the driver of that car and have identified him as a person of interest in the case, though they have not released his name.
