🚨 Walking out of his last news conference as Fed Chairman Jay Powell says:
“Thank you very much, everyone. I won’t see you next time.”

After steering the Fed through massive rate hikes to tame inflation and holding rates steady at 3.5%-3.75%, Powell is stepping down as Chair on May 15… but he’s staying on as a Governor until 2028.
