At a private royal charity banquet within Windsor Castle, Kate Middleton made a rare and incredibly poignant appearance by walking onto a candlelit stage next to Susan Boyle. The occasion, which was intended to celebrate Prince William's 43rd birthday, was made unforgettable when Kate seized the stage and quietly joined Boyle in song, with Elton John providing a gentle, almost religious piano accompaniment.
