I started as a utility on TV productions, later moving to camera operation & Cine Live Broadcasting. It would soon grow into a passion, then a career. F. C.

I've done Steadicam assisting & earned certification in Rockport, ME. I’ve also worked in news and built workflows w/Telestream for encoding/transcoding. Adam Berland interest in video began with his father, Sam, who introduced different aspects of video every day. Growing up in the Punk Rock and Rock “n” Roll scene he attended concerts. Soon enough, he began videotaping bands, from the Zombie Van

dals, U. and many more. He also attended LaGuardia Community College to continue his education. Meanwhile, he decided to build up his freelance experiences, as well. He worked on multi-cam concert events during 2016 in Philadelphia,PA working with Sublime. Working with many different on their bands. He works in sports including College football, College Basketball, up to MLB, NBA, and NFL. He is constantly working on other projects that add to the body of his work.

Last weekend, I worked at an EDM concert, where I built out a hard camera for the Front of House and one handheld camera before the show. During the show, I ran the FOH camera, which rotated, then during the final act, I operated the handheld with the pyro around me. I had a great time working with this team! I did get eaten alive by mosquitoes.

Today is a kind of throwback day. I found some legacy photos of a lighting workshop I did in November 2009, which was a lot of fun. I learned a lot from Eric Lau, especially from having a background in video production and after attending commercial photography school. It helped me with my career!

I made a surprise visit to .shows for their open house last week. It was significant to the awesome truck! Thanks to for letting me know about it and also showing . It was great! I met some great people along the way.

I have been working with different wrestling organizations for the past week, which was great! It brought out my inner child alive.

From this past Saturday's gig, which was great, I had a lot of fun on it. Plus, it was a great crew! I didn’t take great photos this time; all the images were in my mind. Hopefully, one day, I would like to be part of the camera operations portion.
