Im Fokus stehen drei gerade entstehende Filme, in denen Landschaft nicht nur ein Ort der Handlung ist, sondern selbst thematisch wird:

Marcel Scheible widmet sich dem Gebiet der Basler «Horburgrampe», die einst Objekt hitziger Verkehrsdebatten war und wo sich heute Menschen, Tiere und Pflanzen jene Landreste zu eigen machen, die ihnen die moderne Verkehrsinfrastrukturhinterlassen hat.

Frank Matter ist auf einer «Reise ans Ende der Nacht», bei der urbane nächtliche Stadtlandschaften zur Bühne der menschlichen Existenz zwischen Rationalität und Irrationalität werden.

Thomas Isler und Max Philipp Schmid zeigen dagegen, wie «unberührte» alpine Landschaften Produkt unserer Fantasie sind, gleichzeitig aber – indem sie benutzt und kommerzialisiert werden – durch und durch berührt sind.
