ENGLISH - The crown

A crown that isn’t fully pushed in or properly screwed down (in models with screw-down crowns) is the most common cause of water infiltration, even in new watches. Do the right thing: 1/ before every swim or water exposure, make sure the crown is fully closed, 2/after each adjustment (time, date, winding), check that it’s back in the correct position, 3/ if you feel something strange (excessive play or resistance), avoid water and have the watch checked.

The Vienna is crafted with utmost precision by master watchmaker Marc Jenni, using meticulous handcraftsmanship. Its exclusive Côtes de Vienne finish gives the movement a distinctive signature – a subtle reference to Viennese aesthetics. Powered by the ultra-thin automatic movement CSS-V1, the Vienna drives the Walzing Disc at six o’clock in a rhythmic motion. The 39 mm stainless steel (316L) case lends it an elegant presence, while the domed, double anti-reflective sapphire crystal ensures a flawless view of the artistic dial.

On the case back, a hidden detail is revealed: the golden micro-rotor intricately engraved with double griffins - a touch of imperial splendor and a symbol of royalty, visible only to the wearer. The fine leather strap holds yet another subtle tribute to Vienna – the inner side features a micro-engraved pattern of the iconic tiles
