That first pow day of the season is always special. Today was the first proper one here in Engelberg with a great crew.

Last winter was one of the best I’ve experienced here in Engelberg.
This coming Saturday .titlis is opening up the ski season for 21/22. Let’s hope for a lot of pow.

A little throwback to Engelberg 2004, my second winter shooting skiing. The cliffs were higher, the glacier a lot bigger and digital cameras wasn’t on my radar.
It was the first time I met Jamie Pierre. We got many good days on the mountain together the coming years but this one is hard to forget.
1: Jamie Pierre going huge in Jochpass (if you can find him)
2: Bryan Barlow mid Steinberg where the ice is long gone now.

Snow has been good lately and it looks like more to come. I love living in a place where you can ski cold pow up high in April and spring feeling in the village, you should try it 😃
Engelberg is definitely one of those places.

enjoying April at its best. According to the forecast it was supposed to snow all day but we got a nice surprise with plenty of sun before the next storm rolled in late afternoon.
It was freezing up there so the snow kept good all day!
