Haut lieu de la musique classique à Genève, le Victoria Hall rend hommage à de grands compositeurs… exclusivement masculins.

Pourtant, les compositrices contemporaines de ces maîtres illustres ne manquent pas. Le temps d’une soirée, le festival Les Inoubliables festival et la Ville de Genève s’associent pour révéler au grand public quelques figures clés d’un patrimoine musical trop longtemps occulté lors de la journée du Matrimoine sur le thème de l'architecture.

Grâce à un mapping réalisé par l’artiste genevoise Sophie Le Meillour, les noms des compositrices ont illuminé la façade du Victoria Hall. Parallèlement, des présentations historiques d’ Amelia Feuer , ainsi qu’un mini-concert inédit de la harpiste Laudine Dard , ont permis aux visiteurs de découvrir les carrières et les œuvres de ces artistes trop longtemps restées dans l’ombre.

Created in 2020 📅 TELOMERES STUDIO is a creative collective based in Geneva 🌍 They are part of the creative team for the Lethargy festival since 2017 🎶 it became a magical annual RDV ✨ Digital art and textures inspired by the natural world 🌿 are at the heart of their universe 💫 Their work challenges traditional artistic dichotomies ⚖️ organic vs. artificial 🤖 and analog art vs. digital 💻
They experience the prism of the image 🔎 from line to movement ➰ from small to large 📏 from flat to volume 🏛️ they play with scales 📐 spaces 🌌 and architecture 🏢 They develop an immersive and dreamlike work of their own 🌠 which they confront and like to tie to the work of other artists 🎭 and performing arts disciplines 🎨
