There’s a new magazine in town - an English magazine focused on the alternative lifestyle of Geneva, its art and culture. Because yes, Geneva is a cool city with plenty going on, even if some of you may not think so. We love this city, and we want you to love it too! GenevAH! began with a feeling: discontent with the lack of cultural information in English for a non-French speaking new-comer to Ge

neva. The emotion turned into an idea, then into a bar discussion and now a couple years later, here we are. We want to show you that underneath the properly groomed city, there is a vibrant personality eager to be discovered while remaining comfortably unknown.

Tonight is the opening night for the Fêtes de Genève (OFFICIEL). Free concerts, international food, special activities, fireworks and even a giant air-filled sculpture are some of the things that await you on the boardwalk along the lake.
Start tonight with Nada Surf, and tomorrow with Grupo Compay Segundo da Buena Vista Social Club. All activities are free and the meeting point is at Jardin Anglais.
