What’s slowing down your computer and how to fix it?

01 – Too many startup programs
Disable unnecessary apps from launching at startup.

02 – Low disk space
Clean up old files, clear your Downloads folder, and empty the Recycle Bin.

03 – Too many browser tabs
Close unused tabs and remove unnecessary extensions.

04 – Outdated software
Update your operating system and apps for better speed and security.

05 – Too many background processes
Close unused programs running in the background to free up memory and boost performance.

A little maintenance goes a long way — your device (and your productivity) will thank you!

Meet our newest full-time team member who started as an intern and built an inspiring IT support career. Today we introduce Fatima-Zohra, who recently joined as a permanent employee.

Fatima-Zohra's IT interest began in high school during computer classes. A defining moment shaped her path: "A classmate struggled with software for an assignment. I helped him understand the features, relieving his stress. I realized I could make people's lives easier with technical skills."

This spark became commitment when she discovered IT support allows finding concrete solutions while maintaining direct user contact.

Fatima-Zohra credits her encouraging family. "My parents supported me. I was the first girl in the family pursuing IT." This choice created ripple effects - her sister became a network technician, her brother turned to development.

For Fatima-Zohra, good support does not rely solely on tool mastery. "You need adaptability, curiosity, rigor and patience." She emphasizes interpersonal skills: "Listening, empathy, and clear communication are fundamental, especially helping non-technical users in stressful situations."

Key qualities she identifies: organization, autonomy, and working under pressure. "Every day differs. We constantly learn, staying updated on tools and methods. It is dynamic with real intellectual challenges." She highlights teamwork importance: "Solving complex problems with colleagues having complementary expertise is enriching."

Outside work, Fatima-Zohra has two passions: hiking and cake design. "Cake design lets me express myself differently. I play with textures, shapes... It is creative but technical, like IT." Hiking helps her disconnect and return with a better perspective.

Ever wondered how much time your team wastes answering the same questions over and over again?

Today we are excited to share the groundbreaking project our participant Amiguet Ludovic has been developing - Deploying AI agents and automation systems.

The Challenge: Many professional environments drain human resources on repetitive, low-value tasks: answering identical questions, entering the same data into multiple tools, or classifying tickets. These essential but mundane operations tie up skills that could be used on strategic work.

How it works: Ludovic's AI agent analyzes each incoming helpdesk request, determines if a known solution exists, and directly responds to users when it does. The support team now only handles complex cases that require human expertise.

Key Features:
- Automated ticket analysis and response system
- RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) for accurate, verified answers
- Self-hosted, open-source architecture
- Intelligent escalation to human agents when needed

Technical Foundation: Built on open-source and self-hosted tools for maximum control and data sovereignty. The system uses validated internal knowledge bases, ensuring AI responses are accurate and traceable. When no relevant data exists, it escalates rather than fabricating answers.

What makes it special: Beyond simple automation, this system applies across multiple domains - HR can automate application screening, customer support can handle common requests instantly, and finance can automatically check expense reports. The RAG technology ensures AI acts as a trustworthy assistant, knowing when to respond and when to escalate.

The Impact: This project proves that automation does not replace teams - it frees them to focus on high-value work. By choosing open-source solutions and self-hosting, companies maintain data control, avoid vendor lock-in, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Smart automation that transforms repetitive processes into fast, reliable, and controlled workflow.

Meet our senior developer who is transforming how businesses automate their workflow. Today we introduce Amiguet Ludovic, creator of innovative AI agents and automation systems.

Ludovic is a Senior Application Developer whose role encompasses complete IT infrastructure management, developing business applications, and ensuring system stability and security.

His journey to IT began with childhood fascination. He watched his father work on the first IBM computers with their black and green displays: "for me, it was like a magic box." This curiosity led him to request computer classes at a local community center. Here, he had his first experiences with LOGO language on an Olivetti M24 and discovered programming loops.

What Ludovic values most in his work is "the variety of technical challenges and the ability to provide concrete solutions that improve an organization's efficiency." He particularly enjoys the creative side of development, designing custom tools, and experimenting with new technologies like AI and automation platforms.

Beyond his current AI automation project that revolutionizes how companies handle repetitive tasks, Ludovic previously completed major infrastructure projects, combining technical expertise with organizational skills to deliver seamless transitions.

When asked about hobbies that help with work, Ludovic revealed his diverse interests. 3D modeling and technical drawing develop his precision and spatial vision, useful for designing software architectures. Piano stimulates his creativity and concentration, while tennis and sports activities help him maintain good balance and effective stress management.

His advice for someone starting in IT? "Never stop learning and stay curious. IT evolves quickly - what you learn today may become obsolete tomorrow. Experiment, participate in various projects, and do not be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Also develop your interpersonal skills: knowing how to explain a solution is as important as knowing how to code it."

What happens when you no longer truly own the books you buy?

In the digital age, literary censorship has taken on a new, subtler form. From Digital Rights Management (DRM) to algorithmic invisibility, control over what we read—and how we access it—now lies in the hands of powerful platforms like Amazon and Apple.

Prohibited from Reading?

In Chapter 3, we spotlight the story of Amanda Jones — a Louisiana librarian who stood up against censorship and paid the price. After speaking out for inclusivity in libraries, Amanda became the target of a defamation campaign and online threats.

Her experience isn’t unique. Across the U.S., librarians are facing increasing political pressure, book bans, and attacks on intellectual freedom.
