Meet our IT intern who is revolutionizing how we track attendance. Today we introduce Anothjeev A, creator of the innovative QR-Based Attendance System for GBN.
Anothjeev is a Junior Full-Stack Developer specializing in clean, web-based applications. "I build both dynamic front-ends (HTML, CSS, JS) and robust back-ends (mainly in Python), often integrating AI to create advanced, user-friendly, and secure solutions."
His path to IT was more interesting than you might expect. As a child, he loved playing chess since his first pawn move, and playing against machines sparked his curiosity about how they work. "My passion for tech grew the moment my thoughts became tools on a screen, crafting solutions to complex challenges, with my laptop becoming my constant learning companion." This journey led him to earn a BSc (Hons) in Computing.
At work, he thrives on challenges and enjoys creating simple applications that solve complex problems, making businesses run smoothly. "User, family, and friend feedback drives me, and I often lose track of time when developing features because in this field, it is not about the hours spent, but about being fully engaged."
Beyond the QR attendance system that literally replaces manual sign-in, making the process faster and easier, Anothjeev is also developing an e-voting system for Guam-based company Iboom, intended for their government.
When asked about hobbies that help with work, Anothjeev revealed his diverse interests. As a cricket player, he turns to sports for motivation during heavy workloads. He is also a passionate photographer who captures wildlife and creates content, often pairing his voice with engaging background music to emotionally connect with people.
His advice for someone starting in IT? Anothjeev believes in connecting with your inner child, as that curiosity and playfulness keep you motivated to achieve great results. He also emphasizes that learning AI technologies is essential today, suggesting to treat AI as a friend and teammate rather than a threat.
