INDONESIAN YOUTH MUST UNITE AND FIGHT AGAINST THE CORRUPTIVE GOVT.
I opine that Indonesia will deal with the political instability next year following the frequent social repression that has been going on since the last two years (last year of jokowi's second term to today's president).
The uncertain political situations in the country will certainly affect both domestic and foreign direct investments. Elites and cronies of recent "leaders" in the central and branches are taking advantages from the laws, regulations and policies that are seemingly made to orders.
Jokowi's elder son who is being suspected of not owning the least diploma - senior high school as one of the basic requirements before running as a vice president along with his mate Prabowo. Nevertheless, he is still vice president of Prabowo.
Many programmes designed and implemented by the current government don't seem to be well-planned and as transparent as public thought. The central government has made cost-efficiency in certain domains and allocated the budgets more on the free lunch programme for students and pregnant women. On one side is seemingly good to be true, but people see more corruptive elites & cronies on the other side.
The gap of socioeconomic status is obviously apparent. More companies in certain industries have cut jobs and the trends is to escalate. Youths and those who dare to criticise the government and its cronies, particularly students and social media influencers are obtaining intimidations from "the unknown people but well-organised by the "elites/cronies".
So if this s**t continues next year, I have the belief that Indonesia will find difficulties in convincing people to visit to and invest in Indonesia. What's in your opinion?
