Mountain Leader Training complete! Couldn’t have asked for a better long weekend in the Lake District to round off the split weekend course 🏕️☀️

Here’s everything we covered on the second part of the course:

•Personal abseiling and rope work
•Weather and planning
•Lots more navigation practice
•Leadership skills and responsibilities
•Night navigation/poor weather navigation
•Exped / wild camp 🏕️
•Assessment prep, consolidation and training feedback

I completed the training with , I genuinely couldn’t recommend them enough! I had a brilliant 6 days with the loveliest group and can’t wait to put everything I’ve learnt into practice on the hills! 🗺️🧭

the butterfly effect is wild because what do you mean if I didn’t walk into Go Outdoors at that exact day and time I wouldn’t have met Scott or now have a baby together?! 🤯

wasn’t expecting to see any highland coos in the Faroe Islands, so it was a special moment to see them just chilling at the side of a road 🥹
