A blue-and-white celebration took over the National Stadium of Santiago. Argentina defeated Colombia 1–0 and will play a U-20 World Cup final for the first time in 18 years. Substitute Mateo Silvetti came off the bench in the second half to score the winning goal and secure Argentina’s place in the final. Led by coach Diego Placente, the team now aims for its seventh world title, reaffirming its historic tradition in the tournament.

The Minister for Sports of Chile, Jaime Pizarro, met with the journalists participating in the AIPS Young Reporters programme at the facilities of the National Institute of Sports.
During the meeting, the reporters held a question-and-answer session to gain a deeper understanding of the Minister’s work and his involvement in the U-20 World Cup in Chile.
