The workshop will discuss what is expected in a book proposal, how to choose a press or series to submit to, how to articulate a book’s central intervention, identify its audience, and position it in relation to existing scholarship.

The forthcoming Peter Lang series 'Ignitio. Iberoamerican Studies in Communication and Culture' was presented at 'Congreso XIV GECA: Políticas del pop' yesterday, 8th of October, at Universidad Complutense Madrid, by series editors Eva Hernández Martínez and José Manuel López-Agulló Pérez-Caballero, and Johanna Lüder (Peter Lang).

The series is dedicated to audiovisual communication, media studies and visual culture from an Ibero-American perspective and will publish edited collections, monographs, and works arising from research projects in English and Spanish.
