"A Space Oddity" recorded and released in 1969- the year man walked on the moon, was a hit for David Bowie, and an artistic masterpiece...produce Angus Boyd "Gus" Dudgeon I have always loved this song, long before I could play guitar or sing- so it was the greatest pleasure to re-make this song with my Fat Wallet Band-mates, Markus Kalt- Drums and Walter Schüpbach at the I.E.M. Recording studio, my studio in Switzerland.. as Engineer and producer I took great care in the recording process, to try and capture as close as possible the vintage tones and vibes of the original version. Our version was recorded with acoustic drums, no plug ins, no quantizing, or editing of the drum tracks, my Marshall model 1987x amp, an Ampeg SVT Bass amp, my Takamine Acoustic guitar, and microphones. old school, not pro tools. Enjoy the results- this was a labor of love- Eliot Chambers, Guitarist /Vocalist and Bowie fan.
