In our further process, with the development and expansion of our project here in Novazzano, we are now taking this step. 🎊 You can look forward to new tools and activities, everything else remains the same besides the name change. The folk-pop duo PepperDreams was born in 2017 in a remote valley in the South of Switzerland. The duo Mattia Beffa and Susanna Lepori share a common love for roots music. Their sound is the result of folk roots combined with melodies of modern pop. Mattia Beffa and Susanna Lepori write all their songs themselves and tell stories full of emotion. Together with their production team Jonas Macullo and Andrea Cosentino, they create folk-pop songs with a touching intimacy and great attitude.
The first single ON MY OWN was created in a time of big changes in Mattia Baffa’s life. He decided to move to Zurich to study music and pursue his dreams. He left his home country and he became aware that in many situations in life he can often only rely on himself. Many people are afraid to pursue their dreams because sometimes this means giving up a stable and secure situation. The goal of a journey is not always clear and defined, but it is certainly a motivating path that allows us to grow and discover ourselves. Sometimes the decisions we make are not supported or acknowledged, but they are great opportunities that life offers us. This is what the song “On My Own” by PepperDreams is about.
