CARCARIASS

Hi guys, we're happy to announce the upcoming release of the REMASTERED version of the album “A COLD BLACK DAY” on Adipocere RECORDS! Available July 11th!

About this album: in 2016, before resuming live performances with CARCARIASS, Pascal (composer-guitarist) and Bebert (drummer) played in a parallel band alongside their buddies Fred (vocals) and Romu (bass).

The result was a unique album: "A COLD BLACK DAY". Mixed and mastered by the excellent Drop RMX, guitarist of SAMAEL.

Although the CARCARIASS imprint remains recognizable, this album stands out for its rawer, more direct, more death metal sound - a darker, more visceral facet of our musical universe.

Today, to prevent this unique project from falling into oblivion, we have decided to give it a new lease of life: a remastered version of “A Cold Black Day” has been released by DROP again, this time under the name CARCARIASS.

For the occasion, a new cover by Headsplit Design

As with “KILLING PROCESS”, this opus will be released once again on the cult label ADIPOCERE RECORDS!

🇫🇷 En 2016, avant de reprendre les concerts avec CARCARIASS, Pascal (compositeur guitariste) et Bebert (batteur) se sont aventurés hors des sentiers battus dans un groupe parallèle aux côtés de leurs potes Fred (textes, chant) et Romu (basse). En est sorti un album unique A COLD BLACK DAY. Mixé et masterisé par DROP, guitariste du légendaire groupe SAMAEL.

Si la touche CARCARIASS reste reconnaissable, cet album s’en distingue par un son plus brut, plus direct, plus death metal – une facette plus sombre et viscérale de notre univers musical.

Aujourd’hui, pour éviter que ce projet unique ne tombe dans l’oubli, on a choisi de lui offrir une nouvelle vie : une version remasterisée de « A Cold Black Day » voit le jour, cette fois sous le nom de CARCARIASS. Avec pour l’occasion, une nouvelle pochette de Headsplit Design.

Comme pour "KILLING PROCESS", cet opus sortira à nouveau chez le cultissime label ADIPOCERE RECORDS!

L'album sera disponible sur les plateformes de streaming à partir du 11 juillet 2025. 4 chansons sont déjà disponibles sur Bandcamp et Apple Music.
