I have to say I’ve tried a banger of a burger by the guys from .burger and they created a gem of a burger 🍔!

Their smash 💥 jalapeño burger is awesome, probably one of my fave as of late. There’s a lot of smash burger places in Zurich, so it’s really refreshing to see some innovation in a normally quite simple smash burger.

They smash the jalapnenos, onions, meat altogether and top it off with a homemade creamy sauce (almost like a ranch)… the combination of flavors just works! Sweet, with a bit of a kick, I hope they keep it on for awhile 🙌🏾🙌🏾

Some new flavors to start the year and my taste buds have been buzzing!! Some usual suspects still do the burgers just right and some newcomers in Zurich who have really really impressed!

1- .zh for me still are one of the OGs in the smash burger game in Zurich. with my particular favorite the Oklahoma Onion Smash- no sauce- just delicious delicious comforting cheese/beef/onions smashed all together that gives for an awesome juicy burger

2- is so so cool and offer something completely different! Afro Swiss smash burgers in Zurich with so much flavor. The made in Lagos 🇳🇬 is the go to here packed with Nigerian tomato stew, Suya seasoning, all in a crispy smash burgers 🍔

3- .kebab is obviously not a burger but is just too good to pass up on! So consistent, so fresh! Honestly one of the better Kebabs I’ve had! (And I’ve lived in Berlin)! A must if you are in Zurich!

4- .burger is another one that keep on innovating in flavors! Switzerland over the years is actually full of different cultures and this Swiss/ Japanese fusion smash burger place is great. Go for the Wagyu Sando and the Tamago burger 🍔 (I honestly normally don’t care for eggs 🍳 on burgers, but it makes it so creamy and smooth)

5- also a classic that I keep on coming back to. One of the few users of the and the chili cheese smash burger is one of the best bites you will have in Zurich

6- Was in Berlin recently and I have to say … I absolutely loved the crispy chili tuna melt from and their breakfast sandwich. The staff is kind attentive and great which made the experience just a nice feeling overall

Hallo my burger 🍔 liebes!

I swung by the other day as I was intrigued by the mixed reviews online, charismatic owner and diverse burgers they offered 😁

They used to be based in Prenzlauer Berg but have now fully moved to Neukolln on Hobrechtstraße right by lovely Hermannplatz 😎

I went ahead and ordered the DOPE double cheeseburger customized with raw onion 🧅 to give a bit of acidity (no tomatoes 🍅 or lettuce 🥬)

***side note: I find that in Germany 🇩🇪 they don’t utilize lettuce very well in Burgers and sandwiches 🥪, they always put way too much and it looks kind of crazy 😂so I steer clear of that

Burger was GOOD 😊 beef was juicy and blended in perfectly with the cheese, onion and sauce. The ratio to bun was just perfecto 👌🏾! I asked them to make it with love ❤️ and they definitely took some care to do it. Everything tasted fresh and it hit the spot. Sauce was generous (napkins needed). Although bun was nice and fluffy. It was maybe just a little dry, I think they toast the buns rather than butter them (that’s just a personal preference) but the bun 🥯 quality is Sehr gut

Owner brought out some fries and a side of that cheese 🧀 sauce and it was hellaaaaa creamy and smooth. My recommendation is to go with double cheeseburger, fries and cheese sauce on the side, not blended in together so it stays fresh and not messy 🙌🏾

All in all it was super enjoyable 8.4 Buns :) I do recommend ordering in person at the actual shop, I would generally recommend that for most burger shops as you just get a fresher experience … rather than delivery 🚚 where products lose their freshness.

The Chimichurri burger 🍔 from

What a delicious and kick ass burger 🍔. Located in the Pinheiros district, this Argentinian steakhouse offers some soft buns, asado style cooking of the beef 🥩, crispy bacon 🥓, cheddar cheese 🧀 and an unreal Chimichurri … no need for ketchup, mustard etc just perfect 👍🏾 this was a new style for me so difficult to compare to anything else but this felt like a proper Steakhouse burger that you would have in a beautiful finca overlooking the hills-
