BIO
Originally from Germany and now based in India and other parts of the world, Lara has been immersed in global psychedelic culture for over a decade. Her deep connection with electronic music began at a young age, allowing her to witness the evolution of various sound portals at festivals and parties across the globe. She has absorbed the pulse of countless dancefloors, tuning into the rhythms and frequencies of different cultures and scenes. As her energy synced with the music, it unfolded into a strong desire to step behind the decks. In 2023, the project Kaliiraa was born on the beautiful shores of Goa. Now, she brings her love and passion for psytrance music to the stage - inviting everyone who feels the call to join her on this journey.

VISION
For me, music has always been more than sounds and vibrations; it is pure energy, alchemy, and shelter. It is a home where we can always return, whenever we need it. I want to share music that has given me a sense of belonging, deep release, and infinite possibilities… to open a space where the outside world fades and where we all become one heartbeat under the same rhythm. Through playing music, I want to be part of the family that psytrance creates, belonging to the tribe full of many amazing artists who are bringing so much creativity, beauty, and inspiration into the world. Whether it is a visual thing or a magical experience, what I love about it is that it is consciously created through an expression of talent and/or the power of imagination.

Fl!p is the psytrance DJ project of Melbourne resident Alastair Roberts Thomson. Born in South Africa, Fl!p was introduced to electronic music in his very early teens through bands such as The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers & Faithless. He first listened to trance music by stumbling across tracks uploaded to mp3.com and was instantly hooked by the genres driving baselines and powerful melodies. In his late teens he started attending many uplifting trance events where he began encountering some DJs playing psytrance tracks at the end of their sets.

It wasn’t until he attended his first doof, Strawberry Fields 2011, and witnessed Dickster’s sunrise set, that he truly understood the essence of full-on psytrance. Over time, his taste evolved towards the darker, more psychedelic styles, and he now loves playing night time psychedelic full-on. He enjoys this style the most as it takes the groovy elements of full on and mixes them with the twisted leads of forest & dark psy to create a blend that is perfect for a high energy dancefloor.
