We are Team Tumult, a collective of animators, artists and storytellers based in Zurich, Switzerland. Every story needs its own approach. Got a project in mind?

We are Team Tumult, a collective of writers, directors, animators and illustrators based in Zürich. We write and produce visual stories for clients who give us the opportunity to create something unique. Whether it's handdrawn animation, live action, stop-motion, motion graphics or illustration,
our team strives to find the right visual language for each and every project. Each of us has a differe

nt view on things, which keeps our work diverse and fresh. In the end we are linked by wanting to create good stuff. And if a project should need heavy lifting, we can rely on our vast network of talented friends with all kinds of backgrounds. Or just the spark of an idea? Short films, animations, adverts, music videos, illustrations, scripts or only a storyboard. We're always on the lookout for new projects and collaborations.

Wow 🤩 “TV” received the H.R. Giger “Narcisse” Award for the Best Swiss Short Film at 🥳 A big Merci to the jury and the festival team! To celebrate, check out this alternative film poster we made! We still have a few to give away, so let us know if you would be interested in getting one👍

We will be back at this year‘s (Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival) 🥳🥳🥳
„TV“ will be screened as a Swiss Premiere in the „Swiss Shorts“ programme on the 5th of july. We love the festival and its focus on genre-related films, we will feel right at home💙🇨🇭 Thanks for the selection!

History is alive 🦣💀🐂

In the new section of the Ice Age exhibition at the Natural History Museum of .ch, a large display case serves as a projection surface, on which exhibits are brought to life through charming animations.

In collaboration with and , we developed a new style for the animated sequences that combines cave paintings with the aesthetic of chalkboard paint. In these animations, the Neanderthal Orsa recounts his experiences from long-past times. His stories were visually illustrated and vividly staged by us.

Footsteps of times long lost 🔎

We had the chance to work for the newly formed Natural History Museum of the University of Zurich. Working with on a large display-case projection, we gave live to the long lost neanderthals.

With a palette inspired by cave paintings, we worked on a black surface in a chalkboard style.

Our animations are now on full display at the Natural History Museum of the University of Zurich in their Iceage section.
