Hi world, we're now in April and for this 43rd episode, we are delighted to welcome the artist Romi Behl, also known as Romi, Based in Berlin, he is the founder of the Kizen Records label, as well as a music producer and DJ for nearly two decades. His immense talent, combined with an impeccable musical knowledge and a keen eye for musical rarities, drives him to produce music – whether live or as a DJ – that weaves a unique narrative each time, one that is instantly recognisable as his own signature sound: Resonant dub sounds, breakbeat gems, field recordings, experimental electronica and dreamy ambient music are blended here with great finesse and sincerity. This set was recorded during the Amatori x Kizen collaborative listening session at Studio Soft Berlin, where their visions merged to create immersive, multidimensional listening sessions in which sound, flavours and images intertwine, where sound, tastes, and visuals intertwine, leading one to explore the subtle nuances and beauty of shared moments. It is therefore a great pleasure to listen to this new episode, which perfectly accompanies the arrival of spring.

Winter is now behind us, with the cold giving way to warmth and the renewal of life, both plant and animal.
To celebrate this new rebirth, the label has the privilege of inviting a renowned artist whose work has already been featured on prestigious labels such as Space Drum Meditation and Annuled Music. Lucía Hurtado has already made a name for herself here by presenting a track on the immense Various Artists ACCENTVA007 as well as through a wonderful mix on the podcast series!

The idea of producing an EP with this major artist on the Swiss scene has been in the works for a long time. Connected with his colleagues at Amenthia Recordings, the artist shares a taste for meticulous, minimalist and highly psychedelic music.
Each track by Lucìa Hurtado is intended to be experienced as a pe**te trip, with countless entities with indistinct contours manifesting themselves in a lysergic and multi-chromatic trance, intertwined spirals deforming within the celestial vault, the ego dissolving, the body finally rejoins the organic world and opens up in a sacred union with the universe.
This new opus is no exception to the rule, and the artist brings her inimitable style to bear, with music created mainly on a modular synthesiser. The taste for intertwined loops offers a fractal vision of deep techno music, and we can even say here that the artist pushes her expertise even further.
