Dear Friends, I am pleased to share with you that I am now a certified Chopra Vedic Educator. To earn the distinction of the title “Vedic Educator,” a teacher must be certified in all three branches of Chopra’s Teachers Path: Chopra Meditation (received in 2022), Chopra Yoga (received in 2024), and Chopra Ayurvedic Health (received in 2020.) As a Chopra Vedic Educator, I have made a profound commitment to my own personal growth and daily practices, and I have a great love and passion for teaching and sharing the healing tools of Ayurveda, Meditation, and Yoga.

Hi Friends, it's time to celebrate. This morning I received an email telling me that I had successfully completed all the requirements for becoming a Chopra Yoga 200-hour Teacher. What a great way to start the day and kick off the weekend.

I want to thank the Chopra Yoga Faculty, Sarah Platt-Finger, Director of Chopra Yoga, and Melanie Salvatore-August, my Sadhana Labs Yoga Mentor for sharing their knowledge, insights, and experiences with us, and my Chopra Yoga September 2023 Cohorts for joining me on this amazing journey.

Since the 19th of September 2023, we delved deep into the essence of Yoga, discovering its profound implications beyond the physical postures. Yoga, in its truest form, is a comprehensive system for living—a philosophy that permeates every aspect of our lives. Each yoga principle is a tool for navigating life with consciousness and harmony.

We practiced and learned to teach more than 60 yoga postures, 14 Mudras, and 8 Pranayama Practices, incorporating them into yoga sequences associated with four soul intentions, three dosha compositions, and Seven Spiritual Laws of Success. We learned how to bring the Eight Limbs of Yoga into our daily lives on and off the mat. We also learned about connecting Yoga with Ayurvedic and Meditation Practices. It was an amazing experience and a great opportunity to gain new insights and make new friends.

During the next couple of months, I'll be taking a closer look at how to integrate my teacher certifications for Chopra Yoga, Chopra Ayurvedic Health, and Chopra Meditation practices into my life and my business. Stay tuned for more to come.

For now, I just want to relish in reaching this milestone as I reflect on all my experiences and take a short rest before getting back into my daily life.

My chapter is Chapter 17: ‘Magical Times with Grandpa in His Enchanting Garden: Discovering Valuable Treasures for Life.’ It is a short children’s story about a young girl named Michelle who spends her summer vacation with her dearest grandpa in his garden. She learns the foundations of gardening and, most importantly, the wonderful feeling of being loved and cherished. This short story captures magical moments and fragrant memories while dancing in the sun—moments and memories that will stay with her for her entire life and form her lifelong passion for gardening.
