On June 4 in Abidjan, Yango brought together its leadership, partners, public decision-makers, content creators, and the Ivorian press to celebrate seven years of presence and innovation in Côte d'Ivoire, and to unveil the next steps for its ecosystem.
At African Media Agency (AMA), we were proud to lead the full media operation behind the event. From start to finish, our team:
➡️ Prepared and structured the interview briefs for four key Yango spokespeople, covering mobility, delivery, food, and group strategy
➡️ Sharpened the key messages and editorial angles ahead of a tight pre-event press window
➡️ Coordinated the on-site media capture, ensuring every conversation landed with clarity and impact
And there was plenty to capture. Yango Innovation Day spotlighted the future of the ecosystem: Yasmina, the bilingual AI assistant marking Yango's first visible step toward an AI-driven platform; a live autonomous rover delivery demonstration offering a real glimpse into the future of last-mile logistics; and a footprint expanding beyond Abidjan into Bouaké, Yamoussoukro, and Grand-Bassam.
The day also handed the mic to the next generation. A hackathon challenged young talent to design the ideal food marketplace. And on stage, the graduates of the Yango Fellowship program received their diplomas and laptops, proof that Yango's commitment to Ivorian youth goes well beyond service.
A big thank you to the Yango team for the trust, and to the journalists who showed up and asked the sharp questions.
