PRAYER TO THE QUEEN OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY

Queen of the most holy Rosary, in these times of brazen impiety, show thy power with the signs of thy former victories, and, from thy throne, from which thou bestowest pardon and graces, mercifully look upon the Church of thy Son, His Vicar on Earth, and every order of clergy and laity, who are sorely oppressed in this mighty conflict. Powerful vanquisher of all heresies, hasten the hour of mercy, even though the hour of God’s justice is every day provoked by the countless sins of men. For me, who am the least of men, kneeling before thee in prayer, obtain the grace I need to live a holy life upon Earth and to reign among the just in Heaven. Meanwhile, together with all faithful Christians throughout the world, I greet thee and acclaim thee as the Queen of the most holy Rosary: Queen of the most holy Rosary, pray for us.

The feast of Our Lady of the Rosary has
The feast of Our Lady of the Rosary has its origins in the 16th century.

It was instituted by Pope Saint Pius V in commemoration of the victory of the Holy League over the Ottoman Empire at the Battle of Lepanto in 1571.

According to tradition, the Pope asked all the faithful to pray the Rosary to implore the help of the Virgin Mary in defense of the Christian faith.

After the victory, the festival was established as an act of thanksgiving to the Virgin, attributing the triumph to her intercession.

Initially, it was called the feast of Our Lady of Victory, but shortly afterwards it was changed to Our Lady of the Rosary to highlight the importance of this Marian devotion.

Ave Maria

My Lord Jesus Christ, it is Your great love for us that keeps You day and night present in the Blessed Sacrament, full of compassion and love, waiting for us to visit You. I believe that You are really present in the Sacrament of the Altar. From the depth of my heart, I adore You and I thank You for the many graces You have given me. especially for the gift of Yourself in this Sacrament, for the gift of Your most holy Mother as my Mother and for the privilege of visiting You in this church at this time. My Jesus, I love You with all my heart. I am sorry for my ingratitude and I now resolve, with the help of Your grace, never to offend You again. I consecrate my entire self to You, my thoughts, my feelings, and all that I have. From now on, do whatever You want with me. All I ask for is Your love and strength to do Your Holy Will.

Acte de Consecration à Saint Joseph

O dearest Saint Joseph,
I consecrate myself to your honour
and give myself to you,
that you may always be my father,
my protector and my guide
in the way of salvation.
Obtain for me a greater purity of heart
and fervent love of the interior life.
After your example may I do all my actions
for the greater glory of God,
in union with the Divine Heart of Jesus
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
O Blessed Saint Joseph,
pray for me,
that I may share in the peace
and joy of your holy death.

Amen.🙏🏽🙏🏽
