Overdue post: What an incredible weekend at the NZ Salsa Congress 2025! ✨
A huge thank you to everyone who made this King’s Birthday long weekend in Wellington such a special experience.

Grateful to Saione for the invitation — what a joy to share both of my passions: teaching dance and making delicious coffees for the dance familia. Loved every moment!

It was amazing to see dancers from all over Aotearoa, and this time with a strong Latino presence — that brought a whole new vibe. 💃🏽🕺🏽

Also a real highlight: getting to meet some of the incredible national and international artists — so much talent and good energy in one place. What a beautiful community of Latin dancers we have in this part of the world.

Massive shoutout to the VIVA Dance team — Anelita, La Gata, and all the volunteers working behind the scenes to make it all happen.

And of course, big love to my amazing dance partner Penny — gracias for the laughs, the flow, and the great energy on and off the floor.
