BLACK SMOKE!!!!!!!
PRESS RELEASE

Leaders Take Decisive Steps Toward a consensual Presidential Candidate for October 12, 2025 polls.

Yaoundé, August 10, 2025 — In the wake of pivotal meetings held in Foumban and Yaoundé from June 8 to 10, 2025, the candidates and political leaders driving the consensus-building process for the 2025 presidential election reaffirm their unwavering commitment to presenting a united front for change in Cameroon. Leaders have agreed to intensify outreach efforts toward other candidates and political stakeholders, fostering openness and unity in the march toward a single consensus candidacy. A more inclusive and broad base approach will engage other candidates and stakeholders with a quantitative electoral base.

Adopted Resolutions

1. Technical Committee for the Common Program
A dedicated Technical Committee has been officially established to merge the political, social, and economic visions of all leaders engaged in the consensus approach. This Committee will craft a Common Program that reflects the aspirations of the Cameroonian people — a vision rooted in hope, renewal, and lasting progress.

2. Working Group for Polling Station Representation
A specialized Working Group has been created to ensure the coordinated deployment of polling station representatives across the national territory and the diaspora. This strategic structure will safeguard the transparency of the electoral process, protect every citizen’s vote, and strengthen trust in the outcome.

Next steps and Shared commitment
A follow-up working session will be convened in the coming days, with date and venue to be announced.
This movement is more than a political arrangement — it is a historic mission to secure a credible democratic transition anchored in the will of the Sovereign People. The momentum launched in Foumban and reinforced in Yaoundé marks a decisive turning point on the road to victory on October 12, 2025.

Together, united, and resolute, we are building the path toward a new Cameroon.

Presidential Election 2025: Léon Theiller Challenges Paul Biya’s Candidacy Before Constitutional Council.

Léon Theiller has officially filed an appeal with the Constitutional Council contesting the rejection of his own candidacy and the acceptance of President Paul Biya’s.

Theiller, who is advocating for democratic reform, claims that his exclusion from the race is unjust and politically motivated. More strikingly, he challenges the legitimacy of Biya’s candidacy, arguing that it stands on "weaker legal and moral grounds" compared to his own.

“This is not just about my candidacy,” Theiller declared. “It’s about upholding democratic principles and resisting the drift toward arbitrary governance.”

In an act of transparency, Theiller has made his legal petition public, attaching it to his statement to encourage civic engagement and scrutiny. He has also called on the Cameroonian people to remain vigilant and not to surrender to what he describes as "institutional manipulation."
