My family always encouraged me to pursue my dreams. And though I have always chased after them, it has never been easy. Like many other artistes, sometimes I am faced with financial difficulties. Some family members and friends have always wanted me seek for support and assistance from my online community of friends, supporters and well wishers to "push" my music, but I always felt weird asking for such for myself. Though after I left my former record label (Name withheld), and I have been working alone, I have realized that life is far too short to not try every single thing you can to make it happen for yourself.
With all the difficulties and challenges being an independent artist in this country, I finally recorded my EP project (Extended play) that I have been holding off on all this time. I also do have two albums worth of songs ready to be recorded .
I will be releasing an audio and a video song that I completed on a very low budget to give anyone supporting insight into what my team and I can do with very little. Any support, assistance will be so greatly appreciated, as it takes a lot to make an EP/Album.
With being my first single and having all the support I wish and pray it gets, I'm hoping this EP project can help catapult my career.
I know there are a lot of artists in the world that need support and assistance right now, and I strongly encourage everyone to support whatever cause they feel passionate about, (especially pointing out the front liners as I have witnessed first hand how hard they work)... but I also very much want to encourage everyone to never give up on your dreams and to chase them, no matter how incredibly difficult or impossible it may seem.
Through everything else going on in this world, know that life IS way too short and there are no guarantees of tomorrow... so do everything you can to make today absolutely the best it can be.
