Molyko Omnisports Stadium witnessed a Musi Masterclass today. Just 4 minutes in, Junior Musi announced his intentions with a clinical finish to put Cinyodev FA 1-0 up against Legend FA.

Summer Football Academy may have exited the 2026 SW Mini Interpools at the quarterfinal stage on Sunday, but head coach Enobi Brandon leaves with his reputation only enhanced after leading the Buea-based side to uncharted territory.

The 2-1 defeat to Talented SA at Molyko Omnisports Stadium ended Summer Sportsโ€™ campaign, yet Brandonโ€™s first season in the SW Regional League with Summer Sport will be remembered as a breakthrough for the young club.

The former Catholic University SA and Continental FA boss took over a Summer Football Academy side that had never qualified for the SW Regional League, talkless of the SW Mini Interpools. Months later, he delivered.

Brandon steered Summer Football to the top of Group C in the SW Regional Championship with 16 points from 8 games. His record read 5 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses, enough to finish ahead of established opponents Option Sport Academy and Buea City FC.

Across all competitions this season, Enobi Brandonโ€™s men played 9 matches, recording 5 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses. The run included a 3-1 win over Destiny Restoration, and a gritty 3-2 victory against Option Sport.

The Mini Interpools debut for Summer Football Academy may have ended, but Coach Enobi Brandonโ€™s legacy is still unraveling.

The final whistle at Molyko Omnisports Stadium on Sunday confirmed a historic 2-1 win for Talented SA over Summer Football Academy. But it was what happened seconds later that caught the eyes of this reporter.

Despite the quarterfinal defeat that ended Summer Football Academyโ€™s 2026 SW Mini Interpools campaign, head coach Enobi Brandon and Talented FA coach Neba Denvadis, exchanged a handshake.

Talented SA had just sealed a first-ever semifinal berth, coming from 1-0 down to win 2-1 thanks to goals from Micah Ngamne and Degualle Kode. For Summer Football Academy, Ako Kondoaโ€™s 24th-minute opener was not enough.

Yet the mood after the game was one of mutual respect.

Talented Football Academy is into the semifinals of the South West Mini Interpools for the first time in club history after a 2-1 quarterfinal victory over Summer Sports Academy on Sunday, June 14 at the Molyko Omnisports Stadium.

Summer Sports Academy started brightly and took the lead in the 24th minute through Ako Kondoa.

Talented SA responded before the break. Micah Ngamne getting the equalizer at the 43rd minute. The teams went into halftime tied 1-1.

Talented FA wasted no time after the restart. Just two minutes into the second half, Degualle Kode scored the second goal for Talented FA as they went 2-1 up.

The win sends Talented FA into Wednesdayโ€™s semifinals of the 2026 SW Mini Interpools, marking the first time the club has reached the last four.

The team will face either Cinyodev FA or Legend FC in Wednesdayโ€™s semifinal at Middle the Farms Stadium.

Fako United were knocked out on Saturday following a 1-0 defeat to Option Sport Academy at Middle Farms Stadium, missing out on the one available ticket to the National Interpools.

Despite the setback, Fako United finished the campaign with just two losses in 11 matches, recording 7 wins and 2 draws.

Nlend Aime is no stranger to success in the South West. The coach formerly led ISOHSA of Limbe to MTN Elite Two promotion.

The journey is over for Fako United FC. The โ€œNjoku Boysโ€ were knocked out of the 2026 South West Mini Interpools on Saturday, June 13 after falling 1-0 to Option Sport Academy in the quarterfinals at Middle Farms Stadium.

It was only the second defeat in 11 matches this season for the Njoku Boys, who finish their campaign with an impressive record of 7 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats.

Elecsport of Limbe stormed into the semifinals of the 2026 South West Mini Interpools on Saturday, June 13 after a commanding 4-0 win over Manyu United FA at Middle Farms Stadium.

Elecsport started on the front foot and were ahead inside nine minutes. Gideon Junior scored from the penalty spot to make it 1-0.

The second half belonged to Daniel Etinge. The forward won and converted a penalty in the 61st minute, added his second in the 75th minute, and then completed his hat-trick at the 78th minute to make it 4-0.

Elecsport will now face off against Option Sport in next weekโ€™s semifinal of the SW Mini Interpools.
