Putting myself in the shoes of others always, I decided to come up with another interesting project this time titled "SUSTAINABLE MINDSET SHIFT FROM HARD DRUGS TO SOFT DREAMS IN THE BWITINGI VILLAGE,BUEA". The central motive behind this project is creating awareness to youths in this community of the dangers of hard drugs to their mental health and also to discourage them from hard drugs consumption. Unemployment, peer pressure, lack of institutions that campaign against hard drugs and even the ongoing Anglophone crisis are all factors responsible for these youths getting themselves into drugs. To achieve this project, certain indoor and outdoor sessions will be held to campaign against hard drugs and also teach them some skills that can keep them busy so as to prevent them from going back to drug consumption after this project.

Always trying to think out of the box and make our community a better place, my team and I created a space for kids especially females who have become vulnerable as a result of the ongoing crisis. This motive was geared towards building up their self confidence and also enable them showcase their talents in different fields such as drawing, dancing , singing and many other arts.

Today the 26th day of August 2022, we celebrate some Fifteen Children who undergone a one month intensive training on basic computer skills in our organization. During this one month, these kids have been impacted with many nation building ideas and skills such as leadership, communication and also building their self confidence.

Dedicated to attain the sustainable development goals, my team and I embarked on a workshop based on teaching children to build vertical gardens in which they can cultivate their crops and vegetables in the comfort of their homes due to the fact that arable land has become more scarce as a result of increase in population and urbanization. This initiative also serves as a recycling technique as plastics are been used for the cultivation.
