Some months back, while leading my community in prayer, the Holy Spirit asked me to seek repentance from envy. And I was like nope, we are community of Christians we are not envious people. But in the course of doing the exercise prompt, I realised we all have been envious at one time or the other.

Envy is a very dangerous emotions.
Why you may ask?

Well this is why I think envy is dangerous:

🤦🏾‍♀️Envy denies grace. The assumption of envy is that we deserve what another has been given, when, in fact you and I deserve nothing. In fact, we are alive by the grace & mercy of God, as such only He decides what we are to get or receive, not us feeling entitled to what His grace can give us.

🤦🏾‍♀️Envy is self-righteous and self-focused. It tells you,you are someone you aren't & are entitled to what is not rightfully yours.

🤦🏾‍♀️Envy cannot celebrate the blessings of another because it tells you that you are more deserving.

🤦🏾‍♀️Envy forgets who God is.

🤦🏾‍♀️Envy can cause you to hate & kill someone for something you don't even have use for.

As you go about your day's activities, be conscious of the state of your heart and ensure envious seeds do not get planted.

Guard your heart for from it flows issues of life.

P.S: No one is immune from envious thoughts!

Refinement happens in the dark.
So don't rush the preparation season.

We all were created by God for a particular purpose. And with God nothing he creates is ever useless. Everything and everyone is useful to him.

Your parents may have made a mistake bringing you into the world, the way they did, but trust me to God you are not a mistake.

You are right where you need to be! So, never ever you feel like you are a mistake or an accident.

If in doubt about why you are here, go back to God your manufacturer and ask because He alone knows why he made you.

Be encouraged today you were made on purpose for His purpose.

"Garbage in, garbage out".

This is a popular adage, and in computer science, garbage in, garbage out (GIGO) is the concept that flawed, biased or poor quality ("garbage") information or input produces a similar result or output.

In essence, you can not use poor quality materials and expect good quality results.

Nowadays,the internet has given us a wealth of information at our finger tips and it is our right to consume whatever we want whenever. However, whatever information you feed on, you should be responsible enough to handle the results it produces.

This concept also applies to our minds today; what you feed grows and what you starve dies. If you feed your mind with garbage, so too you will produce garbage. If you feed it with valuable information, so too you will produce positive results.

Who then do you blame when you produce garbage? Yourself or the internet?

Delay does not mean denial.

When you encounter delays in the pursuit of your dreams, you must first seek wisdom.

What is causing the delay?

💚 Is it related to your immaturity?
💚 Is it as a result of your wrong actions & decisions?
💚 Have you underestimates the real cost of the venture you have undertaken?

However, if the delay is from God, know this: He always works out His plans according to his timing.
