Road accident in Njombe: human lives lost. A serious accident occurred on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at dawn, in Njombe, Moungo, on National Road Number 5. A bus from General Voyage, coming from the West and heading to Douala, hit a tanker truck carrying palm oil that had been abandoned on the road for several days due to a breakdown. The toll is heavy: at least two people have lost their lives, including a the moto boy and a girl. Several injured people have been evacuated to Saint-Jean de Malte hospital in Njombe.
