Daphne (Daphne 🇨🇲) has finally addressed the growing speculation surrounding her marriage, divorce rumors, and return to Cameroon, offering a subtle but intriguing response during an interview on Balafon TV.
JOURNALIST:
Daphne, some people are happy to hear that you’re divorced, while others aren’t, because for many, you represented the hope that it was possible to balance marriage, family, and a career in show business. Now that you’re permanently back in Cameroon, do you feel relieved to finally focus on your music?
DAPHNÉ:
One thing is certain: I can’t really describe the joy I feel being permanently back in Cameroon with my children. As for the rest, I don’t remember ever publicly discussing the details of my private life.
JOURNALIST:
But some of your posts made people believe that you were divorced.
DAPHNÉ:
I simply invite everyone to listen carefully to what I actually said, and especially to listen to my new music. There’s a story behind it, and everyone can form their own opinion.
I understand that some of my fans may feel a little confused and that things can sometimes go in all directions with different interpretations. But I guess that’s also the beauty of a story: everyone experiences it in their own way.
As for me, today I’ve chosen to focus on my music, my children, and my happiness. The rest… I’ll let you discover it for yourselves.
