Davina Fahnbulleh Named First Miss Africa North Dakota

Davina Fahnbulleh of Fargo was named the first Miss Africa North Dakota on August 23 at Moorhead's Hjemkomst Centre.

Fahnbulleh, representing the Serengeti was chosen from a pool of seven contenders, all of whom were born in Africa or have strong African ancestry and maintain a cultural or social link to their ancestral region.

The event, now in its second year attracted thousands of people in 2024 and was named one of the state's best cultural events by the North Dakota State Business Development Council.

The Loufoulakari Falls, Congo🇨🇬

The Loufoulakari Falls are waterfalls located in the SouthWest of the Republic of Congo in the Pool department, 75 km south of the political capital, Brazzaville.

The area also features a mosaic of farmland and natural vegetation. It is a savanna region with a humid tropical climate.

Davido Attends The Scorpion Kings Event In Pretoria

Nigerian Afrobeats Musician Davido has been added to the lineup of Scorpion Kings Live with Friends, which will take place on August 29 at Pretoria's Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

Amapiano producers Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa made the announcement in the final installment of their Meet Our Friends series.

Davido will play alongside the Scorpion Kings and a plethora of African performers.

A pre-show stage will also take place earlier in the day with performances by 25K, Ba Bethe Ga Shoazen, Banques, Blxckie, Christos, DBN Gogo, Dihno, Dlala Thukzin, Venom and Vinny Da Vinci.
