Life taught me lessons nobody could teach me in school.
There was a time I wasted too much energy trying to impress people, trying to make everyone happy, trying to prove myself to people who never truly cared about me.
If I knew what I know now, I would have focused earlier.
I would have protected my time.
I would have protected my health.
I would have stopped chasing validation from people.
One thing life taught me is this:
No matter how good you are to people, many will only remember you when they need help from you.
Another painful truth is this:
When you do not have money or success yet, many people overlook you.
Some friends disappear.
Some people doubt you.
Even some family members laugh at your struggles.
But I learned not to complain anymore.
Complaining changes nothing.
Focus changes everything.
I realized that hard work, discipline, self-respect, and staying focused are some of the greatest gifts someone can give themselves.
One thing I have also learned is that many people who treated you badly are actually helping you reach your destination without knowing it.
Some people look down on you.
Some mock you.
Some discourage you.
Some abandon you.
But instead of crying forever, use that pain to build yourself.
Today, many young people spend too much time complaining:
“My mother did not help me.”
“My brother abandoned me.”
“My friends don’t support me.”
“My family hates me.”
But the truth is this:
Complaining will never change your life.
A lot of people spend more time looking for reasons not to work instead of finding reasons to improve themselves.
When you focus on your life, you begin to realize that some of the people who discouraged you actually pushed you to become stronger.
Some people forced you to grow.
Some forced you to become independent.
Some forced you to discover your strength.
And honestly, if I am to thank people today, I will first thank those who looked down on me.
They made me work on myself.
They made me stronger.
They made me wiser.
They made me hungry for growth.
Life also taught me to value my health.
Because when your health is damaged, you will understand that money alone cannot buy peace.
Today, I move differently.
I talk less.
I focus more.
I protect my energy.
I build myself quietly.
And one thing I will tell anybody reading this:
Never give up on yourself because of how people treat you during your difficult season.
Sometimes the people who laugh at you today will be shocked by your story tomorrow.
Stay focused.
Stay disciplined.
Your time will come.
