ith philanthropists and democratic and human rights constituencies within Cameroon, as well as internationally, to improve the well-being of Cameroonian people and strengthen institutions and human rights in Cameroon. The foundation is dedicated to the memory of Bah Agwo Fomunyoh, grandfather of TFF's founder and a man of courage and wisdom who lived through German, English and French colonization, and in his time sought to right the wrongs inflicted on ordinary citizens. The Foundation is made up of the following components:
Foundation Radio
Foundation Radio (FR) prides itself on being one of the first in-country pillars of the Fomunyoh Foundation (TFF). Although the foundation's activities in Cameroon precede the advent of FR by almost a decade, FR is the first institutional organ of TFF to go operational within the head office complex in Ngomagham, Bamenda. TFF founder Dr. Christopher Fomunyoh, and Stateson Awa and Christopher Forgwe, the first station manager of FR, respectively, laid the foundation stones. Established in 2007, FR mission is to share information and knowledge on issues that improve the well-being of Cameroonians. The stations objectives, programs, grill and editorial codes are within the guiding principles of TFF’s vision, and the norms of Cameroon and International Journalistic Ethical Standards. Foundation Library
The Foundation Library is the largest community library with a collection of over 25.000 books ranging from the kindergarten to university covering the social and natural sciences, health, management, law, ICTs among others. Spacious and located in a quiet environment, the library offers an ideal milieu for reading and research. At a time when the reading culture among Cameroonians is unfortunately on the decline, and with the economic hardship making it difficult for students and lecturers alike to have access to academic and research material, this offer from The Fomunyoh Foundation is a highly laudable initiative. It also offers printing and photocopying facilities. The Library is opened Mondays through Fridays during working hours. ICT Center
In order to keep pace with an ever modernizing world The Fomunyoh Foundation is currently carrying out installations for an ICT Centre to go operational soon. The objective is to give youths in particular access to modern ICT facilities that should go a long way to enable them to be part of the global village besides serving as an information and academic device. Foundation Conference Hall
The Foundation has a conference room that can host workshops and seminars of up to 50 persons. It is well equipped with a modern sound system, internet facilities, projector and offices to ease the holding of such events. The calmness of the setting, situated out of the hustle and bustle of the city center makes The Foundation Conference Hall an ideal site for the holding of board and other strategic meetings. Foundation Arts and Design
This unit consists of a museum that is endowed with a collection of artifacts from grass field zone of Cameroon the North West and West Region of Cameroon in particular and also from the other Regions of the country. There is also the Design component that conceives paints and prints on T-Shirts and any fabric to suit the taste of any event. This is done with the use of a sophisticated magic-touch, heat-seal machine.
