...A 3-day workshop organised by the Civil Peace Service of Bread for the World , at CEPCA multipurpose hall in Yaounde has brought together members of the Cameroon history soviety, representatives from the Ministry of Basic Education(MINEDUB), Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education(MINJEC), Ministry of Arts and Culture(MINAC), partners of the civil peace service of Bread for the World, GIZ and Agiamondo, for Reflections on a common identity as Cameroonians, and how they can carry on with the Identity Advocacy project without causing harm.
The workshop was focused on the project's goals, achievements, and next steps; with the aim to evaluate the project's implementation, using the "Do No Harm" (DNH) framework.
Key areas of focus include:
- Review of activities carried out and results achieved
- Implementation approach and its effects on community cohesion
- Identification of successes, challenges, and areas for improvement
The analysis will inform recommendations for improving the project's effectiveness in fostering a unified Cameroonian identity, leveraging shared history, symbols, and values.
The Conference that kicked off on March 3 and shall end on March 5 2026 witnessed the presence of 35 participants.
