Instead of throwing them away or burning them (releasing CO2 into the atmosphere), give them a new life with us. We collect textile waste from tailoring workshops and individuals, and transform them into unique, sustainable bags.

Today, I want to talk about a creative way to reduce waste and give new life to old items. We all have them: old jeans that are worn out, faded, and no longer fit. But instead of throwing them away, why not turn them into something new and useful?

That's exactly what EcoSac is proposing: transforming old jeans into unique and eco-friendly bags. Not only will this reduce the amount of waste in our landfills, but it will also give us a chance to get creative and make something truly special.

Imagine taking an old pair of jeans or other textiles waste and turning it into a one-of-a-kind tote bag, purse, or backpack. Each bag would have its own unique character, with the faded denim and worn-out seams telling a story of their own.

By upcycling old jeans into bags, we're not only reducing waste, but we're also promoting sustainability and creativity. We're showing that with a little bit of imagination and resourcefulness, we can turn something old and discarded into something new and valuable.

So, let's get creative and give new life to old jeans! Let's turn them into bags that are not only eco-friendly but also truely unique and special.

Driving Sustainability at EcoSac!

We're excited to share our latest eco-friendly project! Our team collected discarded jeans from a friend and paired them with repurposed Ankara fabric scraps from a local tailoring workshop.

Our goal? To craft a unique, ecological bag perfect for short trips. We'll keep you updated on our progress and can't wait to reveal the final product!

The textile industry's environmental impact is alarming: 92 million tons of textile waste are discarded globally each year! 🚮 In Cameroon, the situation is equally pressing, with 95% of textiles imported and only 5% locally produced. This has led to significant textile waste management challenges. 🌪️

Locally, we have seen textile waste end up in landfills, waterways, streets, or burned, causing pollution and health risks. 🤕 But we're committed to changing this narrative! 🌟
