One genuine comment made my day.

It wasn't a long comment.

It didn't come with hundreds of likes.

It was just someone telling me that something I shared had spoken to them.

And honestly, I needed that.

Sometimes I get so caught up looking at numbers that I forget there's a real person on the other side of the screen.

One person reading.

One person relating.

One person taking something from what I shared.

That comment reminded me why I started creating in the first place.

Not just to grow a page.

But to connect with people.

I'm still figuring out what this whole creator's journey means for me.

But yesterday, one genuine comment was enough to make me smile.

Sometimes, it's not the numbers that make you feel seen.

It's the person who takes the time to say, "I felt this."

Have you ever received a comment that stayed with you?

For a while, I thought I had to become someone else to grow.

I watched other creators.

How they spoke. How they wrote. How confidently they showed up.

And without realizing it, I started trying to sound like them.

I thought maybe that was what growth looked like.

But the more I tried to copy what worked for someone else, the less my content felt like me.

I’m still learning what my own voice sounds like.

Still figuring out what I want RACHPEARL to become.

I don’t have it all figured out.

But I’d rather grow into myself than build something that looks good but doesn’t feel like me.

Have you ever felt like you had to change yourself to fit in?

I’m still learning not to take every opinion personally.

Someone can say something about me, and I’ll think about it for hours.

Sometimes even days.

I replay the conversation. I wonder if they were right. I started questioning things I was previously comfortable with.

I wish I could say I’ve stopped caring completely.

I haven’t.

But I’m learning that not every opinion deserves a place in my head.

Some people are speaking from what they know.

Some are speaking from what they assume.

Others speak based on what they heard.

And some are simply seeing me through their own experiences.

I’m still figuring out how to listen without letting every opinion change how I see myself.

That’s something I’m working on.

Are you like this too?

Be honest… what’s that one thing you stopped explaining to people because you finally
realized they were never going to understand you?

I used to think I had to respond to everything.

If someone misunderstood me, I wanted to explain.

If someone criticized me, I wanted to defend myself.

If someone said something hurtful, I wanted them to know they hurt me.

If I felt ignored, I wanted answers.

I didn't realize how much energy I was spending trying to control how people saw me.

And honestly, sometimes I reacted not because the situation needed a response, but because I couldn't stand being misunderstood.

I'm slowly learning to sit with that feeling.

To let someone have their opinion of me.

To let some conversations end without having the last word.

To walk away from things that would only leave me emotionally drained.

It hasn't been easy.

There are still moments when I want to react immediately.

But now I ask myself:

"Do I really need to respond to this, or am I just uncomfortable with not being understood?"
That question has saved me from a lot of unnecessary battles.

I'm still learning.

But these days, I value my peace more than proving my point.

Happy New week y'all

I still compare myself to other people.

I see someone growing faster than me and, sometimes, I start questioning myself.

Why are they moving so fast?

Why does it seem easier for them?

What am I doing wrong?

I don’t always have a good answer.

And I’ve realized pretending I never compare myself doesn’t make it disappear.

I’m just learning not to let someone else’s progress make me dislike where I am.

Their journey is theirs.

Mine is still unfolding.

And honestly, I’m still figuring it out too.

Do you ever catch yourself comparing your progress to someone else’s?

Sometimes I disappear when things get hard.

Not because I don’t care.

Sometimes I just don’t know what to do next.

When something stops going the way I imagined, my first instinct is to pull away.

I stop posting.
I stop trying.
I tell myself I’ll come back when I feel better.

But sometimes “later” becomes weeks.

I’m still learning how to stay when things get uncomfortable.

I still have moments when I want to walk away.

I just don’t want every difficult season to make the decision for me anymore.
