Oh, how busy is the ego—
always chasing, gripping, striving to secure what was never meant to stay.
It clings to titles, clutches relationships, obsesses over outcomes—
as if permanence could ever be promised in a world designed to flow.
The ego fears change,
so it builds towers of illusion:
“If I just achieve this, they’ll love me.”
“If I just hold tighter, it won’t slip away.”
“If I control everything, I’ll finally feel safe.”
But life, in its wisdom, doesn’t obey ego’s demands.
It moves with sacred rhythm—
with death and rebirth, ebb and flow, seasons of gain and surrender.
Trying to trap it in certainty is like trying to hold ocean water in your fist.
The tighter you grip, the more you lose.
The soul knows better.
It doesn’t hoard. It honors.
It doesn’t cling. It trusts.
It understands that what is truly meant for you will arrive with ease,
and what isn’t will fade—no matter how hard you chase it.
The ego says, “Secure it all.”
The soul whispers, “Let it breathe.”
So next time you feel frantic—rushing to make it work, forcing it to stay,
ask yourself: Is this love… or is this fear?
Because only the ego scrambles for what is fading.
The soul simply returns to peace, knowing that what’s real can never be lost.
Copied.
