China's wetlands are making waves globally ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒฟ. At COP15 in Zimbabwe, Musonda Mumba, secretary-general of the Convention on Wetlands, praised China's "impressive" conservation progress โ€” from having the most accredited wetland cities (22) to being among the few nations with a dedicated wetland law.
Over the past five years, China has completed 630+ conservation projects, restored 310,000 hectares of wetlands, and expanded mangroves by 8,800 hectares. Even more inspiring, much of this work is people-centered, blending nature protection with community involvement ๐Ÿ’š.

This Chinese hwamei family just melted our hearts! ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ’•

Photographer Mr. Zhang spent a WHOLE YEAR documenting this wild bird family in Yunnan - and we're obsessed! ๐Ÿ“ธโœจ

From first dates to nest-building, from tiny hatchlings to epic first flights - he captured EVERYTHING! The dedication is real ๐Ÿ‘
The best part? This power couple raised 8 babies and they ALL successfully flew the nest! ๐Ÿฆโฌ›

๐ŸŒฟ Fujian's capital city Fuzhou has just been named an International Wetland City! ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’š
This is where city life blends with wild nature. Wetlands now cover 15% of the city's total area, with over 70% classified as coastal.
At Huahai Park, you can spot beautiful birds like black-faced spoonbills and egrets in their natural habitat.
๐Ÿ’ก Pro tip: Bring your binoculars and a calm spiritโ€”out here, the birds are the real stars.

Malaysia is advancing its clean energy ambitions through strong cooperation with China, with joint efforts in new energy adoption and low-carbon transition gaining momentum. The Annual Gas Turbine Power Generation Conference brought together over 200 participants from 47 companies across China, Malaysia, South Korea and other countries to strengthen energy cooperation and advance sustainable development.

Malaysia continues to benefit from its close cooperation with China, particularly in the field of clean energy generation, strengthening energy cooperation and building a sustainable future for the Southeast Asian nation.

Due to restricted distribution, habitat loss and an extremely low natural reproduction rate, the population of Gongshan plum yews โ€” a plant species with extremely small populations โ€” has dwindled to only 220 plants in Southwest China's Yunnan province.
A rescue and protection project was initiated in Yunnan in 2021, resulting in more than 100 seedlings being cultivated, 35 of which have met the criteria for reintroduction.

๐Ÿ† Snow Leopard Flex!
Golden hour in Qinghai just got upgraded! Photographers caught this majestic big boy mid-stretch before his morning patrol.
That floofy curled tail? Deceptively cute. This king casually covers 100km+ territory like it's a casual stroll.
